What I have learned This Month

First paragraph: What I have learned this month is how the lord chooses Joshua (Moses assistant) after Moses died ( he was the Lord's second covenant. After the Lord tells Joshua to lead his people to the land that the Lord promises(Josh Chapter 1 verses 1-4). A promised victory that God had provided he insistent that Joshua must concentrate on the book of instructions that Moses had left for him after his passing (Josh Chapter 1 verses 7-8).Joshua sends two individual spies into the city, Jericho and learns instantly that 'everyone who lives on the promised land they are panicking because of them' ( Josh Chapter 2 verse ).

Second paragraph: The Reminiscent of the Red Sea 40 years earlier, The Israelites were aware of the Jordan River and the miracle that they made it safely across to dry land( Josh Chapter 3 verses 16-17). After celebrating the Passover (Chapter 5 verses 1-2),Its time to take the land. The Lord approaches Joshua and realized that God is his ally and he shall fight alongside with him (Josh Chapter 5 verses 13-15). Which starts with the defeat of Jericho ( Josh Chapter 6),Its difficult for the Israelites to follow and worship God and with this new generation there are no exceptions.
